Palouse Color

Under dappled skies, the rolling hills of the Palouse in Idaho glow with the brilliant Spring green of wheat and yellow of rapeseed flowers (Brassica napus). Rapeseed oil is one of the most important oilseed crops and provides more than 13% of the world’s supply of vegetable oil. Disambiguation—CANOLA is an acronym for Canadian oil low acid. It is not the name of the plant

Beautiful country scene, Bob. I had planned to be in the Palouse next week. Unfortunately, had to reschedule for a later year.

Thanks for the info on Canola oil. I did not know that.

Cheers,
David

Thank you David. It may not be too colorful, but it still will be photogenic. I added the comment about Canola oil because Canola is frequently what others call the plant/flowers.
