Saw this not quite perfect Painted Lady on our pentas this morning and she cooperated with me for a couple hundred frames, most of which ended up in the trash but I liked this one. All comments welcome. >=))>

I can see why you like this one, Bill. I like it too. I like the way you included some of the pretty red pentas out of focus as well as the one in focus is nice. The position of the Painted Lady works really well compositionally. Nice oof background. And the details in the Painted Lady is really nice, even if she isn’t quite perfect, think the image is. :+1::+1:

I like the composition with the oof pentas in the lower background but not intersecting the butterfly. Nice sharpness on the butterfly with good DOF throughout. Well done.

This is a fine view, Bill. The Lady is perfectly sharp. I too like the oof flowers in the background. I also think that a less than perfect bf is a fine subject (that’s nature’s way). On my monitor the whites are a touch bright.
