Purple loosestrife (Lythrum salicaria) grows on wetlands. It is honey-bearing, in Europe popular ornamental plant planted in rain gardens and around ponds, in America classified as a dangerous and highly destructive invasive species.

Background is already darkened, the long blade of grass subdued, yellow patches removed or subdued. I couldn’t do more without noticeable interference. A very slight vignette added.

PS. Petals are oversaturated a bit. I’m attaching corrected image which I think is better.
Jacek: I really like the light on this and your DOF management. I don’t find the original too saturated so both versions work for me. I might consider taming the light OOF purple spots in the BG but that’s a mere 1¢ nit. Nice find and a fine capture.>=))>
@Bill_Fach Thank you so much, Bill. I agree that both versions don’t differ much but I’m careful about overdone editing and images looking like post cards, therefore I prefere staying on the safe side. Yes, OOF puprle spots have too much light. My revised version is uploaded.
I missed your OP. But, I’m really liking the small changes in the edit. I’m not a fan of overdone “post-card” images either. You’ve settled on a very nice crop. Nothing I would change.

Color drenched, nearly glowing & beautifully sharp. Makes me remember that the horrible weed we hate in the US, is a natural beauty in its proper place.
