### Weekly Challenge

Quiet Movement

11/1/26 - 11/7/26

**Critique Style:** Standard

The photographer is looking for thoughtful feedback on the image as a whole, especially around the areas noted below.

**Feedback Focus:** Artistic + Technical

### About This Image

Driving along this lake, the water was perfectly still so I got out hoping for that perfect mirror reflection but as soon as I had the tripod set up a slight wind started blowing (happens to me all the time trying to photograph flowers, which is why I prefer to photograph rocks). But I did like effect the water ripples had on the aspen boles. This is just a result of the water ripples, not ICM.

### Feedback Requested

Any suggestions on the artistic expression would be greatly appreciated, but thoughts on anything would be great!

### Technical Details

Canon R5, RF100-500 @500mm, 1/25 sec, f16, ISO 100

This is really nice.
I really like the effect, and I think it works particularly well.
My only suggestion would be to mount it upside down! Give it a try.

I saw this on my tablet last night and am glad I waited to see it on a real screen. This is just an awesome color feast and I love the amount of ripple in the water. No nits here.
