Took a wonderful 9 day boat trip down the Colorado River from Fort Lee to Lake Powell with landscape photographer Tom Blagden, He has been conducting a landscape specialty photo boat trip for Grand Canyon Expeditions for the past 14 years. This year the National Parks are celebrating the 100th year of the founding of the Grand Canyon National Park and publishing Toms book of photos from these past trips. It is a spectacular book and a great training tool for us as we discussed techniques each evening prior to practicing the shots on the next day’s breath-taking scenery.
Took this shot in a narrow canyon - loved the contrast of the blue sky and golden cliffs reflecting is a small rain puddle.

Ej,

Good eye to catch this! I particulary like the crispnes and all the rim-lighting between the rocks and the water/reflection. Colors and processing are pleasing as well.

Thanks for sharing,

Lon

I really enjoy this. The sky reflection looks like mountain peaks and it’s a pleasure to see all the details in the rocks. Thanks for sharing, EJ!
