On a leisurely walk near the Yakima River when this guy appeared. People around here have seen and filmed Big Foot, but I haven’t heard mention of a relative of a Flora Colossus being mentioned anywhere. perhaps Jimothy Raccoon living on the west side of the state is related to Rocket Raccoon.

Awesome find Jim! I’m with Bill, I also thought of the “Lord of the Rings” and the walking trees. But also, the talking trees in the “Wizard of Oz.” - “… Are you meaning my apples aren’t what they aught to be?” haha.
Honestly, I had to google “Groot” … now I know, and I never was in to the “Guardian of the Galaxy..”
I hope you don’t mind since I’m thinking you just posted for fun (nothing serious…) But I couldn’t help but think of this recent image snagged in Yosemite. I wasn’t going to post, but I think the similarity is there, and fun too. Only this guy is missing his upper torso! A headless Groot!
