**Critique Style:** Standard

The photographer is looking for thoughtful feedback on the image as a whole, especially around the areas noted below.

**Feedback Focus:** Artistic / Expressive

### About This Image

I was in Yellowstone, headed toward the Lamar Valley. Had to go over Dunraven Pass. That is where this beautiful buck decided to climb the ridge in front of me. As I hoped, he turned and looked at me just before disappearing over the ridge.

### Feedback Requested

Any suggestions on different exposure or color saturation would be appreciated.

While I don’t usually think of Yellowstone in terms of deer, Jerry, this one is a beauty. A more dramatic sky might have been nice, but you have to take the sky you get (unless you’re into changing them). Since the sky isn’t doing much for the image, you might go with a tighter crop if you have the pixels for it. This guy deserves a prominent place in the frame.

Great image Jerry. Beautiful buck and I love him looking back at you! Agree with Dennis to maybe try a little more horizontal crop with a little less sky.
