Saddle Rock is a Wenatchee landmark and a wonder to see. The real treat is the panoramic views from the top—the North Cascades to the west, the Columbia River directly below, and the Columbia plateau and Rocky Reach Dam to the east and north.

I love the wonderful detail in this high desert landscape! If I ever get to take my long delayed trip to the North Cascades, I will definitely check out Saddle Rock. The clouds are icing on the cake.
Thank you, Bill. When you do go, I hope the weather and time of day will allow you an opportunity to make the hike up so you can enjoy the view from there too. Hike Length 2.5 mi, Elevation gain 912 ft.
