I put up the tree yesterday (yes, it’s artificial) and thought I would try to take a holiday image that got the colors of Christmas and the festive vibe. I moved this from the Weekly Challenge because nothing in this scene is natural.

Feedback Requests

Just inspired by the weekly challenge. I was late to the party on selective focus, so I incorporated that one too. I just bought a Canon 5D Mk IV to future-proof my addiction to optical viewfinders, so it’s the 30th picture taken with the new camera.

While there’s not much nature, it’s a lovely image for a holiday card, Marylynne. I love your composition and the limited depth of field worked very well here.
