The Sedona Photography Symposium team presents a southwest-based event for photo enthusiasts gathering to nurture their creativity and personal visual expression. It’s a must attend event for all photographers who are looking to expand their knowledge and artistic approach to photography. The Symposium’s theme, “Mastering Visual Artistry," will emphasize the artistic and creative side of photography in an upbeat, casual and welcoming environment.
A special pre-symposium workshop featuring Suzanne Mathia, “Sedona: Icons, Secrets and Treasures,” offers a small-group field and classroom experience, allowing participants to learn from a published and experienced Southwest photographer. Post-symposium workshops will include "Afterglow: Shooting After Dark” with Scott Stulberg and 3-day “Monsoon at the Grand Canyon” with Adam Schallau.
Learn Lightroom and Photoshop techniques that transform your images from good to great with Joe Brady. Cole Thompson teaches how to follow your vision rather than rules and formulas. David Cobb showcases light, color, form and expression in his presentation and workshop. Gary Glenn will light your inner fires in his talk about “The Motivated Photographer.”
