The composition here is very strong: especially with the diagonal. I am not quite comfortable with the B&W background and colored balloon but that’s just my taste.

Welcome Connor. I will echo @Adhika_Lie’s comments. I really love how the patterns in the balloon mimic the ridge line.

As @Adhika_Lie said the composition is indeed very strong. Addind that to the lack of detail on the background (both shadows and highligths) and the baloon will pop in a very loud way, as it is the only coloured part on the image.
