### Questions for Viewers

What are your first thoughts, “nice snapshot!”, “Hmmm…interesting, I want to know more!”, or something else?

### About This Image

This is the “Shoe Tree” located on the “Loneliest Road in America” - Hwy 50 through Nevada. I stopped during mid-day on my way to Utah a couple of years ago on a clear winter day. Black and White seemed to work best as there was not much color and it was mid day. The tree is a huge Cottonwood with literally thousands of shoes littering the branches. I could not find a pleasing composition from the ground looking up, too many shoes, too much fine detail.

So I flew my drown to get a different perspective and isolate an interesting area. There is much to the story of the Shoe Tree if you do a search. I won’t take up space here for that.
