Description
Here’s an early morning backyard capture I got of a fanning tom. I thought I’d fill up the frame with lots of feathers.
Specific Feedback
Cropping? Should I have bothered cloning in another secondary tail feather in that gap? Anything?

Nice portrait of this guy, Dave. I hadn’t noticed the missing feather, but I wouldn’t bother. It just gives him a realistic look. AI would never leave it out.
I didn’t even notice it! And, I think @Dennis_Plank nailed it when he said AI would never leave it out. I agree. It’s way more realistic having a feather missing. I love the head turn that’s just enough to get a glimpse of the eye and you have beautiful colors. Boy, you could make some abstract images from those feathers up front. I’ve done that before with peacocks but never with turkeys. WOW, 1260mm…that’s a long way away.
Great color and details, Dave. I like it as presented.
