Here’s another capture I got from a group of tom turkeys recently. It never ceases to amaze me how they can magically transform from an ugly bird into a work of art!

I thought about photoshopping out the weeds on the bird but decided, hey, part of the environment… plus it would’ve been kinda tedious to do. What say you?

I agree they are an extraordinary looking bird. Lots of different colors, shapes and spaces. I would leave the grass. It does not interfere and adds to habitat. I am wondering if it needs a bit more sharpening. If you get another chance you may also consider giving them a bit more room with the zoom lens.
