Skagit Tulips

Does this crop work? Is it too saturated? Any other suggestions?

Hi Tony. A wonderful array of spring blooms from the Skagit. The saturation in the reds looks just a bit much to my eye, but I think that’s a matter of taste. Many years ago when I was working in TV repair, the RCAs were all set up with super saturated reds and many people loved them. I like the angle you took this at with the streams of color. Very well done.

A nice, almost stylistic stream of colors. I like it very much!

I like the composition and love the colors, Tony. I don’t think it’s too saturated. The bottom looks a bit overexposed and contrasty, though; was the bottom half in direct sunlight and the top in the shade?

Tony: I’m on the road so please accept my apology for my tardiness. I like your crop and the saturation works for this color junkie. A scene I would love to see firsthand. Nicely done.>=))>

Thanks one and all for the comments. Regarding your question Jaymes, I can’t remember (a phrase I say often these days).
