Sobranes Point on the California coast near Big Sur is beautiful any time of day, but at sunset the golden light of the setting sun makes everything even more stunning.

HEY! Joey, I know this place. I have photographed there so many times and in many different lighting conditions.
The light in this photo is just perfect! Golden, rich, later afternoon, with muted clouds in the sky giving just enough texture and darkness to help the foreground pop.
Two things that I wish could be different in this photo. 1. I kind of wish you had tripped the shutter just a bit earlier to catch the wave in line with the two sea stacks. 2. I wish you could have been standing about 10 or 15 feet further to the right so as to put some separation between the two sea stacks.
I agree with Youssef with an additional observation having shot there several years back; I wish there was more to the left than to the right as I don’t have an ending point that feels comfortable to me.
Joey: I’ve never been there so I’ll defer to @Youssef_Ismail and @Chris_Calohan regarding your positioning but the light and water action are marvelous. Really nice capture of a wonderful moment. >=))>
Joey, I like how you’ve got the warm light on the rocks and the the sweep of the land heading out of sight. The bit of foreground green sets the rocks/light off well. I’m fine with not having an endpoint, as it lets me wonder/imagine about what’s past the point.
