You ain’t kidding. My husband and I did a road trip around Lake Superior in the oughts and Superior is surrounded by thick forest. One of the things I want to do is see one of the last unlogged forests in the North American Continent - I think it’s on the UP either in the Ottawa or the Hiawatha forest. So dense and out of reach that it is considered true old growth. I’ll get there eventually.

Yeah…it’s easy to keep tinkering with these types of shots, but I think I’m going to leave it for now. You all have helped tremendously to take it to the best it can be and I’m thankful.

I am late to this one, but have to say that this is a great image. Looking through all comments and the different variations I vote for the fourth image of the original posting.

Don’t know how I missed this but I love it – all of it! I’d vote for #4 on the original but by a whisker. A wonderful find, well photographed!
