The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
Just sittin’ by the creek watching the water flow by when I noticed a great patch of red alder roots in the water. The sprightly sparkles on the water made for a nice touch.
Specific Feedback
I’m good with this, but any input welcome. I tried various rotations, but kept coming back to this one.
Technical Details
Single frame ICM; hand held. Processed in ACR & PS; color and contrast adjustments.
I like the diagonal/triangular composition in this one, Bonnie, as well as the transition from cool blues to greens to warmer red/orange in the different parts of the image. I downloaded this one because I wanted to check how it looked rotated and I like it even more as a vertical rotated clockwise.
Like Dennis, I immediately felt a different orientation might be even more exciting. This was because I saw the flow coming from what is here the left side and this made me feel the water was going upstream a bit. Nothing wrong with that in an abstract, so it’s just personal! Great rich colors here, and overall it’s excellent.
