### Pertinent technical details or techniques: D500 200mm f4 + 5T Magnifier (1/60 sec at f9.0, ISO 200) 3 sets of 15 images stacked with PMax and assembled manually in Photoshop CC. 3 flashes were used (Main one with Lumiquest diffuser, other flashes beamed through soft box. The third flash served as a rim light to separate the beetle from the BG. Crop for comp, rubber stamp used to blend sections together, and remove specimen pin. This is the type of photography I do at work, but with dissecting microscope and Digital Sight camera. The D500 has better dynamic range and better flexibility than with the microscope system. This genus of longhorned beetles are found in Subsahara Africa and are known for their brilliant coloration…Jim

Jim, the details and colors really stand out. Great job with the stacks and blending. The completely unsupported look is quite striking as well.
