**Critique Style:** Standard

The photographer is looking for thoughtful feedback on the image as a whole, especially around the areas noted below.

**Feedback Focus:** Artistic + Technical

### About This Image

I’m not sure this really fits the challenge, but the earth doesn’t make a whole lot of noise while it’s rotating and this image gives me a feeling of a very quiet morning with the light just getting brighter.

Does this feel give the feel implied by the theme?

Dennis, my initial reaction was “white bird during a whiteout”… 😉 It’s definitely subtle with fine hints of color both around and in the sun. The hint of ground at the bottom of the sun is a nice touch.

Making me smile Dennis. I like when a photographer takes an extremely subtle composition and puts it out there. Challenges us to see it. Makes me think about shots that have a single tiny subject in negative space, but in this case, the very slight contrast between a large subject and the fog present a whole negative space that compels me want to see the subject. Very cool. Maybe suggest a weekly challenge of fog shots to see what other subtle treatments others have captured.

This is very subtle but I really like it. It feels so quiet, almost like the image is whispering to me. Nice work!

Lovely!! The Sun through fog is one of my favorite things and you captured it very well here, with the perfect hint of color!
