Today’s image was taken before this week’s local photography club meeting, and it illustrates the importance of preparation. I arrived early after work for a quick walk around the park without any intention of a photo shoot. When I saw the quality of light presented by the setting sun over Springfield Lake, however, I quickly headed back to my vehicle for my gear. In this case preparation enabled opportunity.
