I love old buildings like this, Bob. Thanks for sharing. I always think that at one time it was someone’s dream. Lots of stories to tell if it could talk too.

Thank you, Shirley. I too think about the stories these old structures could tell. In many cases the owners of the property have presented themselves to me as I am working on the composition. We have had many great conversations about the structures’s history and they often invite me onto their property to get different perspectives. That was the case in this instance. I then offer to send the owners a print as a “thank you” for their time. I’ve never had my offer refused.

How wonderful! And that is a great “thank you” gesture too.
