A hot dry summer, a recent hailstorm battered the garden a bit, even so this rose continued to bloom through it all.

Absolutely beautiful! We all know flowers epitomize color. But sometimes we get lost in that color and forget the detail, the delicacy, the softness, and yes, the imperfections of those petals. That is shown here in black and white. Very well done!

Thank you Marc, I am being drawn to simplicity and monochrome images to show off the things that we sometimes miss with a full color image, it’s interesting to see what shows up when the color is removed.
