Image Description

I photographed the Veteran’s Cross in Mojave National Preserve at sunrise in early December after a snowstorm. Snow doesn’t last long in the desert, so I felt lucky to capture this scene. I felt this fits the theme of Holiday Greetings as a cross represents the spiritual nature of the season for many.

Shot with a Canon 5DM4 and 24-105 lens at 24mm. 1/500 at f16
Post processed in Lightroom and Photoshop to bring out the color and texture.
