An interesting choice of detail, David. I really like the lighting on this image. The selective area of your image makes for an intriguing composition. I find myself wondering what the rest of the piece was about-and that’s a good thing.

This works really well for me. I like the cutoff composition, leaving much to the imagination. It is a fine study in tones and shadows.
