The past couple of months life hasn’t allowed me to take photos and then winter hit hard after the first of the year so wildlife has been scarce. This Mountain Chickadee showed up just a few feet from me when I finally did get outside, I am so glad I had my camera ready. I love how birds fluff their feathers to keep warm in winter.

Such a sweet little Chickadee, Laura. I’m glad you are able to get back outside to do some photographing. Winter seems to have been hard on a lot of people this year. We are still waiting to see what plant will survive and return and which ones we will need to replace. This little fellow does have himself all fluffed up and looks like he’s found the perfect shelter. Thank for sharing .
