The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

Under a long pedestrian bridge over the Vjosa river in Albania, I found this ‘nest’. Its 2 ‘eggs’ interrupted the wavy patterns in the sand very nicely. I played a bit with the composition and finally chose this setup. One picture was enough.

Specific Feedback

This is almost a classical example, I’m afraid, of a tidal finding (even if thus far from any coast, the ‘tides’ were the result of rainfall). I kept the post-processing to a minimum, but any creative idea about this would be very welcome.

Xavier, I like the high contrast and the shapes. Both the stones and the shadows in the mud are well placed. It’s a fine statement on what can be found locally, provided a person looks carefully.
