This Osprey along with many others were just starting their trip south. I shot it from the Zodiac, (handheld) on Sept. 7 at 7:57 AM.

Canon 7Dll, sigma 150-600mm, 252mm, f7.1, 1/6400, -1.3 Ev, ISO 400. In DxO PhotoLab 4, I cropped the shot by 30%, decreased the highlights and increased the Gamma by .3 in Tone Curve.

Eye contact is very nice as is sidelight.

Wonderful sharpness and detail! You might try selective lightening of the shaded side of the face.

Thanks for all the comments. Diane here is a post with the shaded side of the face lifted. (I used a local brush in DxO PhotoLab 4)
