This bridge and a few hundred metres of walking tracks is all that remains of once thriving steam railway used to export timber from this part of Australia and support building expansions in early days of the white settlement

Funny you should see it as thoughtful - in truth I took it in the spur of the moment right after crossing the bridge and these two people happened to be there. There is a lot of truth in the advice to carry your camera with you whenever you can as you never know what opportunities will present themselves.

As a former bridge structural design engineer, I am pleased to see good images of bridges! Thanks for posting this one. Your composition is great, and so is also your choice to render it in b&w.
