Description

Our day lily season is winding down a bit but these guys are still going strong. It rained all night and most of the morning but spying this splash of yellow out the bedroom window made me curious. The rain finally eased to a slow trickle so I braved the mosquitos and fired off a few shots before I fled the hordes before they could do vampire like harm. Other than providing prey for dragonflies and bats, is there anything more annoying and aggravating than mosquitos? >=))>

Specific Feedback

Focused on the stamens and anthers for the blend. Acceptable clarity?

These look fresh and lovely. My dad is a daylily collector and would really appreciate these. Hopefully the deer don’t get into yours. They are a menace! As are mosquitoes. It’s been cool enough so far that they aren’t massing in their hordes yet, but that’s coming and so I’ll probably not be in the woods much as is normal for me in summer. When we sit on the deck we have one or two Thermacell units going to keep the little jerks away.

The stack looks really good and creamy smooth. I wonder if the yellows are a bit on the hot side though - a color mask with some luminosity changes might help there.
