Vanishing Manscape

Vanishing Manscape

(Marc McCann) #1

When a much anticipated ocean sunrise didn’t appear, I wandered along the shore and found this man made structure. I aimed for perfect symmetry, a long exposure, and a cooler white balance in the early morning hours.

Pertinent technical details or techniques to help others learn:

Nikon D810 with a 24-120 f/4 lens. Manfrotto tripod. Polarizing filter.

This is really working well for me. Love the blues and their mood and for some reason, the pier shapes make me think of a Japanese garden. Very fine work.
