Doesn’t get any newer than this - one of the 2 newborn fawns born in our driveway last year. these are coastal blacktail deer, a subspecies of the inland mule deer.

Sandy, this is a delightful view, although it’s camo isn’t working very well. You’ve captured it’s hiding behavior well.
Aww, to see this in your driveway must have been quite a joy. Love its placement on the frame and how the tiles are arranged in this image. It adds some opposing diagonals which make the image dynamic. Was the mother around, Sandy?
I think I remember this or a companion shot, Sandy. A lovely image with the contrast between the fawn and the paving bricks. I love the look of the fawn’s eye.
