This a a photo of a portion of a freight rain moving through the Yakima River Canyon. I was experimenting with slow shutter speeds, camera movement, zooming in and out and in flipping he image in processing.

@Don_Peters@Preston_Birdwell@Steve_Zimic@Dennis_Plank Thank you for your nice comments. I wasn’t sure if this fit Abstract Nature or Everything Else because of the human made element. My imagination has me seeing a person holding a large magnet above his head with his left arm.
Fascinating and very lovely!! After reading what it was, I’m even more puzzled how it came to be, but I’m glad it did – it checks all the boxes for excellent art!
I felt that I was looking at a abstraction of a necklace draped on abstracted fabric or skin.
I think this is a wonderful art piece, especially because it came from a camera as opposed from a brush on a blank palette.
I suppose some motion or ICM or zooming was involved, but thinking about How takes me away from enjoying the harmony of hues and shapes.
The circular rim rushing away from the viewer – a bike tire? – has just bounced off the tubular structure coming in from the lower center-left. The explosive energy of the impact radiates out from the lightest, brightest colors into rays of different colors.
Which is to say that it’s a real abstract to me. I have no idea what the subject of the photo was. And I love that! It’s a puzzle that keeps me engaged as I try to come up with a story to explain it.
