Woah! That's My Sugar Water!

Residents of a nearby bee hive found this sugar-water hummingbird feeder. I smiled when I saw this image of an incoming (female, or juvenile, Anna’s?) Hummingbird. Is that caution or perplexity in the hummingbird’s eyes?
In the end, this hummingbird (and many more) just peacefully co-existed with the bees and enjoyed the water all at the same time…no problems at all.

I focused on the hummingbird. I wish the bees were sharper in focus.

A very cool image, Mark. Someone needs a different style of hummingbird feeder. Those bees will suck it down in a big hurry. I love the hummingbird’s pose-it’s just perfect for the situation.

Thanks Dennis. That pose really did it for me too.

Love the pose of the hummingbird. It looks good and sharp. I’m not personally a fan of having hand-of-man objects in my photos, but that’s just my preference.

Thanks Lyle. I don’t usually have man made items either, preferring all natural settings. But I liked the story here in this scene so I made an exception!
