Hello! I’m Drew. New to NPN; first heard about it from the F-Stop podcast. I’ve tinkered with photography off and on for many years- took a B&W/darkroom class in college in the mid 90’s and then spent a lot of money on rolls of film trying to get night photos to come out in the late 90’s. (All of those rolls of film, and I literally only got one good pic out of it- and that one was an accident.)

I only got really serious about photography when I picked up a Sony a6000 for a family vacation in 2017. I’ve taken thousands on thousands of photos… and have maybe a hundred or so that are actually half decent. Thankfully, I’ve noticed that recently I take fewer pictures overall, and proportionally more are worth processing. I’ve improved enough at this point to a) know how very much work I have to do still, and b) need objective eyes on my work to help me improve it.

I look forward to participating in the discussions here and meeting new folks, hearing new ideas and working to improve our photos together.
