I grew up in St. Louis and learned photography in my teens while photographing friends skateboarding. Later my interests turned to backpacking and I found early inspiration in landscape photographers such as Galen Rowell and David Muench.

These days, I take an intuitive approach to photography. I believe when we quiet our analytical minds and respond purely to what resonates within us, we create images that speak with authenticity.

I currently live in Owen Sound, Ontario. When not photographing, I can be found rock climbing, canoeing, or programming various websites.
