My interest in photography was sparked back in 1991 when I attended medical school at the university of Innsbruck. In the library I found a book by Ansel Adams and I was immediately hooked. My grandfather used to be a semi professional photographer but he passed away when I was 6 years old. I later remebered that there was still some of his equipment hidden in a closet and I was able to learn the craft with a Mamiya RB67 and a Linhof 4x5 technical view camera and my improvised darkroom in the basement.
In 2010 I finally switched to digital cameras which opened up a whole new world of photography with lots of experimenting and finally printing my photos.
