Whilst online one evening during 2017, I stumbled across some beautiful landscape images. The images really caught my eye and made me stop to think. Searching through further examples, certain photographs clearly stood out above the others. Not just because of their appearance but also how they made me feel.
This experience sparked something off inside of me. After a great deal of research, I finally invested in some decent camera equipment so I could get out and start taking photos of my own. My passion for landscape photography has grown ever since.
There are some fantastic places to photograph around where I live in the North West of England. Unfortunately, a demanding full-time job along with family commitments means I don’t get out nearly as much as I would like. Naturally, those times out in the field are most precious to me. Every spare minute in between is devoted to the art in one way or another. Whether it be the practice of image processing, researching new locations, studying the great work of others, etc. I find this all helps a great deal towards my overall development as a landscape photographer.
