I loved photography back in my early 20s and once children were born put it away. I had a rough 27 years or so that involved selling everything I owned to pay for bad habits. After 6 years clean, I started getting back into my artistic side and love this medium! I am mostly self taught with the exception of 1 JC photography class in my 20s. I live just 2 hours from Sequoia National Park and nature is a big part of my spirituality today. Not a preachy guy, just trying to share my story and I share the beauty my eye sees for those that can not get out to view themselves. My wife who stuck with me all the bad years, has Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer and I sell some pics on my site with 50% of the profit going to Metastatic Breast Cancer research. In that way I can feel as though I am doing something to help in the fight besides just being there.
