I live in Montana and photograph primarily wildlife near my home.
I started after retiring and have enjoyed the journey.
My style is 2 extremes:

1. Sit and wait. I love setting up a portable blind in predawn darkness and waiting. I also love learning by visiting the same location dozens of times. I enjoy solo wildlife photography and exeriencing the same location.
2. Hike. I hike with a friend I have know for 30+ years for bighorn sheep and rocky mountain goats. This past year we went on over 40 hikes for bighorns from March thru December. Hiking for goats involves leaving the house at 3:30 am and hiking up in the darkness by headlamp. I love the alpine in the summer…especially at sunrise!
