For my thirtieth birthday, I was given a cool digital camera. And since then, it has gradually turned into an exciting hobby. How to shoot, what to shoot, to post-process or don’t post-process, whether you need a flash or not, how to compose a shot, what different shooting angles gives, etc. Nevertheless, this wasn’t my first photography experience. My father had a camera and of course I used by it. Moreover, I printed my first pictures myself. I had a photo enlarger, cuvettes, everything I needed. I even remember formaldehyde smell in my darkroom. But these were rather momentary pictures without any hidden thought, as I proudly called them “reporter’s look”. However, the real passion and understanding (I hope) of the subject - photographic art came only much later. At the same time, the main job did not always allow me to devote proper time to my hobby. Now everything has changed and I can devote as much time to my favorite pastime as I want.
