Live in Winona, Minnesota along the upper Mississippi. The area abounds in State Parks and National Wildlife Refuges within 20 minutes (or less!) from my home. I live at the top of a Coulee (valley) and my backyard is visited by dozens of different birds migrating up the Mississippi flyway to the boreal forests and far northern Canada.
