I got my first camera in 2020 and have been hooked since. I found that photography was the perfect companion to my other hobby, hiking.
I have never had any formal photography training; just some YouTube videos and a whole lot of bad photos.

I first gravitated to macro photography and became addicted to the time-stopping sensations that came when connecting with a macro scene in nature. I’ve since tried many genres of photography and I love them all.

Looking forward I’d like to hone my photography, composition, and post-processing skills to better capture my personal relationship with nature to the world.
