I am a landscape photographer from Rapid City, SD. I did not get started with photography until about 6 years ago, and was instantly hooked. I was able to turn the hobby into a business, starting with portrait and weddings (which I hated), eventually into architectural and real estate photographer that is my primary source of income, allowing me to keep landscape photography not only as a passion, but supplementary income. I’m also a graduate student trying to apply for physician assistant school. If I somehow accidentally ended up being able to make a living off of landscapes, I most definitely would (as long as my wife let me). In the summer, I am also an avid stormchaser trying to not only capture the beauty of the weather, but combine it with some of the rugged landscapes in the northern plains.
