My photographic journey began in 2007 right before a trip to Hawaii for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. It was on this trip that I discovered my fondness for all things nature and I’ve never looked back. While my passions are in Landscape and Avian photography I tend to shoot just about anything and everything. Over the years NPN 1 and now NPN 2 have taught me almost everything I know about photography.
I’m married with three kids. My wife and I are now empty nesters as well as Grandparents. My wife is a retired school teacher and I’m looking to retire in a year or two. We love traveling by ourselves or with the kids and we prefer to camp rather than hotel it. Well, maybe glamp. We bought a large diesel motorhome a couple years ago and have spent time on the road and average of once every 6 weeks or so. We love to be out in nature. We always travel with our three incredible Labrador retrievers. All three of them are certified FEMA Search and Rescue Dogs. One is a live search dog and the other two are Human Remains Detection Dogs. Most recently, they have deployed to hurricane Helene’s in North Carolina as well as the fires in Altadena and Pacific Palisades, California. My wife is a volunteer with FEMA, the San Bernardino Sheriff’s Department, Orange County Task Force 5 Search and Rescue and also the Riverside Police department with all three dogs. Our dogs are our passion.
