I am a full-time freelance photographer specializing in recreational travel and the natural world. My photography is regularly featured in leading travel magazines and websites such as _National Geographic Traveler, Backpacker, Travel & Leisure, VIA,_and TravelOregon.

My photos have won awards from the North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA), the Society of American Travel Writers (SATW), and the North American Travel Journalists Association (NATJA).

I wrote and illustrated the travel guidebooks Photographing Oregon and Photographing Washington, both of which won awards for editorial content and design. My latest book, Oregon, A Photographic Journey, and my smartphone app, Oregon Coast Photo Guide, are also award winners.

I lead multiple photography workshops each year, working with Muench Workshops, Yellowstone Forever, and with private clients, delivering custom itineraries and experiences for avid photographers and travelers.
