I got my first Nikon 20 years ago and loved “taking pictures”. I have always had the desire to improve, but my career as an educator kept me as a seasonal photographer (summers only). This made improving impossible as I always forgot or was unable to really practice what I learned over the summer. Once I retired, I was able to photograph year round and a whole new world opened up!

My initial love is landscape, but now I’m finding a passion for macro and abstract. The ability to explore the grand and the minuscule and creating art is something that brings me great joy.
