California born, 71 years old. Trained as a journalist (San Diego State 1974), I learned photography in college. Got better over the years; sold some freelance articles with photos. Used my photos to illustrate papers delivered to a local literary group. Maintained an interest over the years and photography is now my primary hobby, soon perhaps to seek a higher level, with projects and possible sales. Have been shooting landscapes and birds with Olympus system; just stepped up to a Nikon Z6II and am focusing on landscapes. Will add a telephoto soon.
