Over the past 15 years I guess I have become what you would call a ‘serious hobbyist.’ While it is true that I enjoy getting a special image to share with others, I am largely motivated by the simple pleasure of getting outside and experiencing nature. I ‘seek’ photos rather than ‘arrange’ them. By that I mean I work collaboratively with nature, time, light, etc. and try to SEE more with my eyes and less with my brain. It is this ‘discovery’ that is most thrilling to me. (Hope this makes sense!)
