I take pictures of nature to connect with it. My best images primarily reflect an intimate relationship with nature - when I see it’s patterns, textures, forms, colors, shadows, and light. The rest of the time I enjoy making images that span a range of scales, from the macrovisual through wide-angle grand scenic.

My interests in photography include abstraction, artistic vision, intimate landscapes, patterns, geology, wilderness, and conservation.
